The teaching pack consists of a short film, activity cards for children and a lesson plan for the teacher.<\/p>\n          <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container my-2 acf-text-block\">\n  <div class=\"row\">\n    <div class=\"col-md-12\">\n                <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container my-2 acf-text-block\">\n  <div class=\"row\">\n    <div class=\"col-md-12\">\n              <h2 class=\"\">Surprise boogie<\/h1>\n                    <p>What would big band jazz music look like? How would what we hear &#8211; the swing, the rhythm, the ups and downs &#8211; be translated into images? Surprise Boogie is visual music. How would you paint, draw or maybe clay your favourite piece of music?<\/p>\n<p>Albert Pierru&#8217;s film &#8220;Surprise boogie&#8221; is an extraordinary film. It was made without a camera! By scratching directly on the filmstrip the maker creates abstract and figurative images that seem to dance to the rousing jazz music.<\/p>\n<p>The film lesson &#8220;Surprise boogie&#8221; is part of <a href=\"https:\/\/cinemini-europe.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cinemini Europe<\/a>, an innovative and interactive film education programme for children aged three to six years old.<\/p>\n<p>All 26 Cinemini films and accompanying film lessons are free for educational purposes: in schools, pre-schools, classrooms. The hand out for pedagoges and the activity cards for children for &#8220;Surprise boogie&#8221; are available below. This film and the other Cinemin- films can be viewed after entering a password.
