Taartrovers develops programmes with playful installation and artistic films for children aged two and up. At Taartrovers, young children discover the power of their imagination. We offer them surprising activities and beautiful installations that children can freely explore, utilising all their senses. Children learn to look at, investigate and shape reality. We want to motivate and empower them to tell their own stories.
“Playing with Fim” is a practical study on how film education for preschoolers can be of added value to the existing curriculum. This is not only for general education but also for schools who focus on special education.
In collaboration with six European partners, Taartrovers developed a ready-made film package for children aged 3 to 6 years of age. This package included films, film cards and lesson plans. The package is accessible as a free downloadable film package or as a full-blown curriculum.
Ever been afraid? The children from group three of master Mo have. At Kabam! we meet the children in the class. Taartrovers developed teaching materials for the series.
We create a world out of cardboard, drive around in it and turn it into film. Don’t you want that for your toddlers too?
A special programme with short films for home and school. Especially for preschoolers. Each film includes related play activities with scope for investigation and wonder.

Working together with our team of artists, designers, production managers and art teachers we can develop, produce and execute a programme from A to Z. A programme that fits in with the existing needs and possibilities at school.
During the various editions of the Taartrovers Film Festival, an extensive program is available for children of group 1 and 2. There are introductory lessons and films for school, a fantastic festival visit and a teaching package for follow-up. Please contact us for more information.
Taartrovers is currently developing MiniCine. This is a piece of furniture, specially designed for in the classroom. Preschoolers can use it to independently investigate film. It stimulates them to play with image, projection, sound, story, and movement.
The prototype of the MiniCine is ready and we’re now testing it. In the course of ’22, the final design will be determined on the basis of the test phase. Next the first units will be produced.
