The films
You watch a film programme with several short films in a row. The films are often without dialogue, making them accessible for children and parents who don’t understand the Dutch language.
The Light Playground
Here you explore film, stories, colours and sounds with all your senses, but especially light. Look through the camera, mess with colours, produce beautiful projections, jump into the spotlights and make all the images move.
Cineminimaxi goes on tour
During these four-day mini film festivals, we screen new film programmes, for families and for schools. After the film, you can play with the installations so you can discover new things. We will soon announce the dates and theatres.
Flashback: Taartrovers Film Festival 2023
In 2023, the last Taartrovers Film Festival took place at Natlab, Eindhoven. The first three days the cinema was reserved for Eindhoven schools to visit the festival with their pupils, after which (grand)parents could visit the various film programmes and, of course, the Light Playground with their children.
