Installation: Lichtspielplatz
A playful composition of film screenings with a light landscape consisting of seven installations, aimed at children aged 3 and up. Step into a space where you feel free and safe to discover, a space that inspires and encourages exploration, a space for wonderment, using all the senses. In a playful manner, children are introduced to the basic elements of film such as light, projection, movement, imagination, sound, storytelling and perspective
The Lichtspielplatz was developed by Taartrovers and can be set up in museums, (film) theatres, cultural institutions or at festivals. The Lichtspielplatz was first exhibited early 2024 for five months at the Deutsches Filminstituut and Filmmuseum in Frankfurt, Germany. From 2025, the exhibition will tour Europe.
